「NHK English program」 ナイスウラミアン
do you know the educational English programs shown on NHK?
they are very beneficail to me, probably to us.
i like the program "ハートで感じる英文法〜会話編〜".
today's topic shown on it was how to use the word "if" for negotiation.
do you understand the difference between these sentences below?
>if you can't give me a better price, i'll look elsewhere.
>if you can't give me a better price, i look elsewhere.
the latter doesn't have only the word "will", but there is a big difference.
the program interviewed with native speakers.
all of them said that the former sentence was good but they usually wouldn't use the latter.
one even said that he wuold never use it, another replied that she could use it when she was very frustrated or angry.
thus, the absence of "will" can make a high pressure.
oh, i see!
i was really impressed.

if so, it seems to me that he had to employ the word "by the Japanese" or "by Japanese people.
by the way, the correct word is not "japanish" but "japlish", isn't it?

By the way, I feel that the sentense "if you can't give me a better price, i'm afraid i'll look elsewhere." may be written or spoken by Japanese.
